Love Starts Here

 (Use a personal gesture as you tell your higher power in your own words you are giving them your heart, mind, body, and spirit.)


The LORD answered: I myself will go along, to give you rest. (Exodus 33:14)


Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)


The God of old is a refuge;
a support are the arms of the Everlasting. (Deuteronomy 33:27)


It is the LORD who goes before you; he will be with you and will never fail you or forsake you. So do not fear or be dismayed. (Deuteronomy 31:8)


You are my shelter; you guard me from distress; with joyful shouts of deliverance you surround me.  (Psalm 32:7)


What do you hear him joyfully shouting to you?
(Be present in the moment and relish how it makes you feel for as long as you want.)


With open arms, receive the precious gift of peace that Jesus wants to give you, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27)


Now, receive his love as you hear him say, “As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.” (John 15:9)


Keep listening as he echoes his last sentence until you’re at peace, “Remain in my love. Remain in my love.  Remain in my love…”


(Pause and “remain in his love” for however long you want.)

 
And over all these, put on love, that is, the bond of perfection. And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. (Col 3:14-15)


When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid.  (Psalm 56:3-4)


When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.  (Psalm 94:19)


My strength and my refuge is the LORD. (Exodus 15:2)


The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, saves those whose spirit is crushed. (Psalm 34:19)


We conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:37-39)


I sought the LORD, and he answered me,
delivered me from all my fears. (Psalm 34:5)


The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom should I fear?
The LORD is my life’s refuge;
of whom should I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1)


Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD, your God, is with you wherever you go.  (Joshua 1:9)

God indeed is my salvation;
I am confident and unafraid.
For the LORD is my strength and my might,
and he has been my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2)


The LORD is God from of old,
creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary,
and his knowledge is beyond scrutiny.
He gives power to the faint,
abundant strength to the weak. (Isaiah 40:28-29) 


On the day I cried out, you answered;
you strengthened my spirit. (Psalm 138:3)


For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)


I keep the LORD always before me;
with him at my right hand, I shall never be shaken. (Psalm 16:8)


In peace I will lie down and fall asleep,
for you alone, LORD, make me secure. (Psalm 4:9)
